No window warranty means much unless your contractor is reputable and will come back and take care of problems if they occur.

It seems that all manufacturers have problems now and then with their products........... the good ones will repair/replace parts (or the whole window) in a timely manner.

I have had repairs on windows 15 years old. The statistics say that homeowners will sell every seven years and that lets the manufacturer off the hook for the "lifetime warranty" in the majority of cases.

This is one of the reasons I deal with Certainteed for replacement windows as they do have the best warranty and the ability to stand behind it.
